Seville Spain finally win the European Championship! Leonardo de Figueroa

Once again, for the fourth straight year, I write again elated by the good game of English basketball.

The seventh time lucky, and finally, after losing 6 finals throughout history (1935, 1973, 1983, 1999, 2003 and 2007), Spain has won its first Eurobasket.

The latest results of the selection in Eastern Europe speak for themselves:
66-86 to France in the quarter-finals 82-64 to Greece in the semifinals, and 85 - 63 Serbia in the final.

The success of selection in the last 10 years, too:

- 5 th in the Eurobasket 1997,

- 5 º in the 1998 World

- Plata in the Eurobasket 1999,

- 9 th in 2000 Olympic Games

- Bronze Eurobasket 2001

- 5 th in the world , 2002

- Plata in the Eurobasket 2003,

- 7 th at the Olympic Games of 2004 (so unfair that post for the great game that did Spain)

- 4 th in the Eurobasket 2005.

- Gold in the 2006 World
- Silver in the Eurobasket 2007.
- Silver in the 2008 Olympics.
- Gold in the Eurobasket 2009.

Surely the name of Leonardo de Figueroa (Utiel (Valencia) h. 1650 - Sevilla 1730), do not say anything.
Not even if Sevilla is like me.

For this man think it could be considered along with Anibal Gonzalez, the most famous architect of the city of Seville.

His works include:
