Surely the name of Leonardo de Figueroa (Utiel (Valencia) h. 1650 - Sevilla 1730), do not say anything.
Not even if Sevilla is like me.

For this man think it could be considered along with Anibal Gonzalez, the most famous architect of the city of Seville.

His works include:
- The Hospital of the Venerable priests

- Church of Santa Maria Magdalena

- Church of the Savior

- Church of St. Louis of the French

- Cloister of the former convent Merced, now Museum of Fine Arts in Seville

- Chapel sacramental of the church of Santa Catalina

- San Telmo Palace (now headquarters of the Junta de AndalucĂa)

- Charity Hospital

This man has a street dedicated to him naturally. It is a very small street parallel to the Avenida de Andalucia, almost opposite the shopping center arches. " A street that nobody knows, as the story of the architect as beautiful works.

This is how the city recognizes the figure of this man.
However, the figure of other personalities born in Sevilla, as Pilar Bardem, is in the process of having his name on a street in the city, despite having done absolutely nothing for Sevilla, although much of the party which proposed, which wants to remove the name of a general war of Cuba citing the law of historical memory to do so. From my point of view, totally embarrassing.
